What is the MELT Method?

The MELT Method is a gentle self-care practice that enhances mobility, stability, and performance. Come to a MELT class and experience changes in how your body looks and feels. Learn simple self-treatments you can do at home to remain active, healthy, and pain-free for life.

The MELT classes will use specialized soft rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Treatment balls to simulate the results of manual therapy. Learn to eliminate stuck stress before it accumulates causing chronic aches, pains, and unwanted signs of aging. Reduce inflammation, ease chronic neck and low back strain, improve alignment, enhance athletic performance, and keep your whole body feeling great at any age.

Classes:

MELT All Levels Class

WHEN: 11:30am- 12:45pm at RIH

This all-levels class will use specialized soft rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Treatment balls to simulate the results of manual therapy. Learn to eliminate stuck stress before it accumulates causing chronic aches, pains, and unwanted signs of aging. Reduce inflammation, ease chronic neck and low back strain, improve alignment, enhance athletic performance, and keep your whole body feeling great at any age.

MELT Intro/Basic Class

WHEN: 4:30pm- 5:45pm at RIH (1st and 3rd Sunday of the month)

This class is catered to those who have no previous experience with the MELT method, and/or require extra modifications due to illness or injury, and/or prefer a slower pace. The class will overview the concepts and basic terminology of MELT and make use of MELT soft roller/half roller and balls. Class is generally conducted standing/on the floor, but seated modifications may be provided space available.

MELT Recovery

WHEN: 4:30pm- 5:45pm at RIH (2nd and 4th Sunday of the month)

After a long weekend of nordic or downhill skiing, skating, snowshoeing, sledding or whatever your passion is…. a MELT session will improve post-exercise muscle recovery, as well as reduce the aches and stiffness brought on by too much fun .  MELT simulates the results of manual therapy and is a secret weapon for achieving peak performance and reducing fatigue and injuries.

Duration: 75 minutes

Price: $25 drop in, including rental of MELT roller and balls. If you have your own equipment, please bring it. Yoga mats available if needed but please bring your own if you can.
