DIDIÉ HAMEL - JOLETTE, CAT, MOT
Didié (pronounced D.D.A) Hamel-Jolette, originally from Quebec, discovered Revelstoke in 2020 and instantly fell in love with its small-town mountain vibe. Captivated by the endless outdoor opportunities, he decided to make it home, where he indulges in rock climbing, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and exploring new adventures.
Due to his own experience with chronic injuries pulling him away from his activities, Didié became interested in Athletic Therapy. In 2016, a major climbing accident resulted in a traumatic brain injury, fractured vertebrae, and an avulsed glute muscle. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the arduous recovery process and the psychological challenges that come with it. Didié is committed to making a difference in your journey.
He graduated from Concordia University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and became certified as an Athletic Therapist. In 2022, he furthered his expertise by completing a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice, enhancing his skills in manual therapy. Currently, he is pursuing studies in Applied Neurology, a field he believes holds the key to future advancements in therapy and human performance.
